Research Description
Dr. Shi currently serves as a Professor and Head of the Department of Water Science and Engineering in Chongqing University, China. Recognized as a Highly Cited Researcher globally by Clarivate Analytics in 2023, his scholarly impact is profound, with over 200 peer-reviewed publications which have amassed more than 10,000 citations. His primary research focuses on Water Treatment & Reuse, Membrane Technology, Aquatic Ecosystem Management, etc. Dr. Shi plays an active role in the academic community as an Associate Editor for Reviews in Environmental Science and Biotechnology, also as a member of the editorial boards for leading Chinese journals such as Water and Wastewater Engineering and China Water & Wastewater.
